The Bauchi State Network of Civil Society Organizations (BASNEC) has commended the North East Development Commission (NEDC) for providing prompt palliatives during these challenging times.
BASNEC Chairman, Mr. Jinjiri Garba, praised NEDC’s efforts in alleviating the suffering of the people and emphasized the importance of their role in bringing relief to the communities in the North East region.
“I must recognize the giant effort of NEDC for addressing the predicaments faced by the people through providing succor to them,” Jinjiri Garba said during his conversation with journalists in the state.
He highlighted the significant role played by NEDC in bringing smiles to the faces of those in need in the region.
Garba applauded the commission’s commitment to providing assistance during challenging times, noting that the distribution of palliatives not only demonstrates its dedication to supporting communities in the North East but also reflects its values of compassion and solidarity.
“By extending a helping hand to Civil Society Organizations and vulnerable groups, the organization has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in Bauchi State,” Garba added.
“Their generosity and kindness have provided much-needed relief during these unprecedented times, showcasing an unwavering commitment to the well-being of the people.”
Garba also used the platform to call on the government to provide NEDC with the necessary funds and support, emphasizing that it would enable the Commission to carry out its responsibilities diligently.
