Bauchi Emir Pledges Support For Muslim Pilgrims Board

The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu has reiterated his commitment toward providing continued support to the activities of the Bauchi Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board to achieve the desired goals.

The Emir made the promise when he received a delegation from the Board led by its Executive Secretary, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris on a courtesy visit to his palace.

He described the appointment of Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad as a blessing to the Board.

Alhaji Rilwanu, therefore, spoke extensively on the challenges of hajj operation, charged Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim to ensure that he carries his staff and all relevant stakeholders along and assured him the emirate continued support and prayers.

The Executive Secretary, Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris who led the delegation said the visit aimed seeking for the Emir’s prayers and fatherly advice to enable him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi state.

Imam Abdurrahman used the forum to inform the Emir on the Bauchi State Government plan to start the airlift of Umra Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in Bauchi.
