Bauchi Housing Commissioner inspects ongoing construction of new Government House

The Bauchi State Commissioner for Housing and Environment, Honorable Hamisu Mu’azu Shira today inspected the ongoing construction of the new Government House Bauchi.

The Commissioner told journalists that the inspection visit was part of the leadership style of Governor Bala Mohammed towards deepening monitoring and evaluation for the delivery of quality projects by contactors.

Honourable Hamisu Shira after inspecting the project said he was satisfied with the level of work so far done by the contractor and applauded the governor for his foresight to initiate the legacy project for the best interest of the state.

“First let me extend my appreciation to the contractor for the commitment towards the execution of the project. The level of work so far made is commendable.

“Architecronix Limited, the company handling this project has once again proven to us that they are equal to the task and with the assurance you gave me, I am confident that the work will be completed as scheduled.”

Hamisu Mu’azu Shira said when completed, the new Government House alongside the International Conference Center will be the first of its kind not only in Bauchi, Nigeria but in the entire West Africa.

Architect Samuel Olorogun, who received the Commissioner on behalf of the company, said Architecronix Limited is working round the clock to ensure the completion of the project on time.

“We are highly delighted to receive you today for inspection visit but I want to tell you that we are determined to provide quality work for the sustenance of the project.”
