Interfaith Youths Group Donates Food To BASOVCA
Vibrant Christians Youths and Muslims Society had donated food items to orphans and vulnerable children as part of its activities marking the New Year celebration.
Speaking shortly after the donation held at the Orphanage home in Bauchi, the Chairman of the Society, Daniel Gambo told Albarka radio that the gesture was to extend a hand of fellowship to the less privileged children in the state.
The Chairman also called on other wells to do individuals in the state to contribute their quota by assisting the needy always.
In her remark, the Chairperson of Bauchi state orphans and vulnerable children agency BASOVCA, Hajiya Yelwa Abubakar Tarawa Balewa thanked them for the gesture and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
Hajiya Yelwa Abubakar used the medium to call on people in the state to offer support to Governor Bala Muhammad to achieve his mandate.
Hajia Yalwa Tafawa Balewa charged other NGOs to emulate the kind gesture.
The highlight of the occasion included feeding the orphans by members of the delegation.
